PhD in Mechanical Engineering presented in 2003. He worked as researcher in the Group of Composite Materials (University of Zaragoza) leaded by Prof. Antonio Miravete from 1999 to 2003. Within this period, he was invited to a research stay at the EADS Corporate Research Center in Munich (Germany), during 2001 and 2002. He joined ITAINNOVA on year 2003, under the Torres Quevedo Program of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, with the objective of joining a newly created research line in tribology of rubber-like materials. He has been responsible for several projects funded in national and European public calls in the topics of numerical modelling of materials and manufacturing processes and, more recently, related to the development of virtual tools for the analysis of industrial components and processes.
